I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience! Not only is the environment absolutely gorgeous and clean, but the service was so wonderful. I had my first Brazilian laser hair removal treatment. Mara made me feel completely in control of my experience and made a very vulnerable experience feel totally comfortable. Not only did she make sure I was draped and properly prepped but my experience was nearly painless! Such a great and high end business.
This is an honest comparison between my experience at Ideal Image vs Venus Rising MedSpa. *Spoiler alert* I booked my treatments with Venus Rising after a consult at both places! It feels almost silly to compare the two because the experiences were SO different.
About me: My lifestyle is chaotically busy and it shows; messy bun all the time, notoriously running late, cat hair on my pants… you get the idea. I don’t often make time for myself or splurge on things that make me feel pretty. This was a big deal for me!
I went to Ideal Image first and I left there feeling really crumby! They had me stand in front of a mirror in awkward paper underpants and point out the things I didn’t like about myself while they asked leading questions about my insecurities – way beyond what I booked the consultation for. Then, they sent me to a room that felt like a grade-school principals office (except it was somehow worse) to discuss payment plans for ALLLL the things they recommended. I dodged their sales pitch phone calls for weeks and I vowed to NEVER EVER go back.
Then, I had a friend who went to Mara at Venus Rising MedSpa and RAVED about her experience! Over time, I heard more and more positive recommendations and decided I would *be brave* and book a consultation.
Immediately, I noticed a difference in the care and quality of business!
The staff at Venus Rising MedSpa are friendly in an authentic and welcoming way. The place has a warm and modern boutique-like ambiance. It doesn’t feel overly clinical or corporate. Mara has been thorough and transparent and took the time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed. I never felt uncomfortable. I got to keep my own clothes on and she only exposed each area individually as needed. The treatment itself was great! It wasn’t painful *No bravery required* and the pricing is really reasonable too! Plus, I noticed a significant reduction in hair growth after just my first appointment. I’m so glad I took the chance and booked with Mara at Venus Rising MedSpa!
Currently doing DiolazeXL laser hair removal on my legs. Two sessions in and I’m already seeing AMAZING results!! I’m getting laser hair removal at a different place for other areas and the diolaze is definitely way less painful. The fronts of my legs are super sensitive, but the backs of my legs I had little to no pain what-so-ever!!! Mara is also the sweetest person and I thoroughly enjoy our conversations during the treatments. 10/10, highly reccomend!!
I am so happy with my botox. It looks so natural and people are guessing I’m ten years younger. I can’t believe I didn’t start botox earlier. She is professional, on time, clean environment and has good energy. I will definitely be coming back.

My first time getting lip fillers and I’m terrified of needles. Mara was fantastic she answered all my concerns. she numbed me completely I felt a few pinches and that was the worst of it. I cannot believe it was so painless and only took 10 mins tops. I love my lips and i don’t look like I have duck lips they look natural which was my goal with getting fillers. I couldn’t recommend her enough and I will definitely go back for more.
