I waited to do this review and I have been dreading it. I spent a pretty big chunk of cash here. I got a color correction and some Botox injections.
My hair was colored too dark and I had color stains all around my face. I could only post photos of the back of my hair and a partial front side. I went home and scrubbed my scalp to try and lighten my new growth and hopefully get some of the skin stain to lighten. Currently, I have a dark mid-shaft that I’ve been hoping would eventually go away, it has not. I’m not seeing much of a solution other than to start over.
My Botox didn’t last 2 months. I ended up going to someone else after that and spent all of that money again. (I did a review of that experience and I’m so glad I went.) I also had a droopy eyelid after my Luxe experience.
The lesson I’ve learned is that I won’t ever get that $1,062 back ( which is more money than I’ve ever spent on my own vanity in my life. ) I’m not sure what I’ll do going forward, but I know where I won’t be doing it.
*UPDATE*
I spoke with the owner today who was pleasant enough and asked for my feedback and concerns regarding the experiences I had. Of the $262 I spent on hair services, she will refund me around $80. While I do appreciate this, there is a pretty large gap between that and the full amount that I paid for a job that was not performed even close to expectation. I was told that the technique used by the stylists is one that the owner personally instructed and trained her staff to use because it’s how she likes her hair done, but she excused this by saying that Kylie (my stylist during the visit) must have not wiped the color off of my skin as trained, etc. This did not address why the color was formulated incorrectly and was approximately two shades darker than my natural hair to begin with. Kylie had also asked another stylist in the salon to help her formulate the color because she did not know how. The owner also felt the need to provide the following excuse: that her staff is blonde and, and thus they likely don’t have the full grasp of all color levels. The refund is for the color portion of my visit only and does not include the cut or gratuity. I was offered services as compensation initially, but I have no need for any.
I was informed that the injections I received by the Botox Practitioner working in her salon weren’t her responsibility because the individual operating those services is an independent contractor. Any and all of mycomplaints for that service, according to the owner, would need to be directed towards the practitioner herself. I found it odd that directly following this statement, she (not being the practitioner within her salon providing these services) had opinions on how the site placement could have been completed more accurately. Independent contractor or not, she is responsible for who she chooses to bring into her salon to represent her establishment; so I highly believe that she is in part responsible for the performance of the aesthetics practitioner as well.
She also mentioned something about looking into a new medical director which confused me because if she is hiring a director, that changes the business relationship between the contractor and the business, and thusresults in some question about the integrity of their current accepted business practices.
I offered to update and/or remove my initial review after seeing that she did put in an effort to respond to my negative customer experience, but I was told that “the review is already out there,” and that there was no point in removing it. Because of this cavalier response about her salon’s reviews, I decided to at least give an update, regardless. If I owned a business, I feel I would have cared a little bit more about the publicity (good or bad) that a customer was offering to provide or change.

L.O.V.E. this salon. The stylists are talented, the setting is adorable, and the vibe makes you leave feeling better then you came in. Jessica is my hairdresser and she is such a great human to spend a few hours with getting pampered (while drinking a mimosa or two 😉). I haven’t had services done by any of the other gals but have never seen any of their clients leaving looking anything but amazing. They also have great connections and relationships with other local businesses in the wedding industry because of their bridal niche so if you need any advice on best venues, photographers, dress shops, how to avoid wedding day horror stories, whatever, they got you covered.
This place offers men’s cuts that are actually tailored to you. The stylists at Luxe pay attention to what you want done and always make sure you’re satisfied with the final product. The staff is friendly, inviting, and accommodating for people with busy schedules and time restraints. There’s nowhere else I’d rather get a haircut!
Love Luxe! Honestly the most incredible spa I’ve been in. Classy and sophisticated, warm and inviting. So much heart and soul has gone into this spa.

I have been flying to Arizona to get my Habit Tied Extension from Chrissy. I love my habit tied extensions and wanted to see if anyone else closer was trained and certified from her in Washington State. I searched her website and found Vicky and Mariah do them at Luxe Salon and Spa in Spokane. I looked over their pages and liked what I saw so contacted them! I drove two hours to see them and I was so happy I did! My hair turned out fabulous! They are both hair gods! They moved my extensions up and colored my hair! It’s looks amazing! I couldn’t be happier! Vicki and Mariah are very talented. They made me feel right at home and you can tell how much they care about their clients! I would highly recommend these two for habit extension and color! I will be traveling back to Spokane for my next appt! I am so happy found them! Thank you Vicki and Mariah!
Luxe is the best salon in Spokane! Truly, these girls are amazing! I go to Vicki for my blonde, and I typically go to Sam for hydrafacials but all the girls are fantastic! I’m so glad to have found Luxe. I went years not knowing where to get my hair done in Spokane and now I won’t go anywhere else 🙂
Mariah Lynch is amazing she does my hair, lashes and even my brow tint and wax. I leave feeling beautiful. Luxe Salon is a really classy salon. I feel comfortable and more important,catered to.
