  • Absolutely the best in Washington State hands down! I couldn’t ever stay here too often. Beyond accommodating every time I’ve stayed and when they mean pet friendly, they take that to the next level! Phaedra and I always feel welcome and at home when we are there.
Kudos to everyone there at the lodge!

  • First, we do love the Salish. We got engaged there and got married there. We recently stayed for our 10 year anniversary. Unfortunately, lackluster is the only way to describe the experience. Maybe because it was a Wednesday? We booked the spa level room with a couples massage package. Check in was good and easy. We got to our room and included in the package is a bottle of sparkling wine. I booked the room over the phone for this very reason. Myself and my wife do not like sparkling anything. I asked (at booking) if we could have a bottle of non sparkling rosé instead. They said, no problem. It was sparkling wine in the room. Normally I wouldn’t complain, but it’s just the start of so many details gone wrong and all those add up when you spend $1,500 for one night. The wine comes with chocolates (very good ones) and a nice welcome note. A note that had someone else’s name on it. To be fair, we did find another note in the room that had our names on it, it did say happy anniversary, happy first anniversary. so it was very confusing. I called the front desk to make sure we have the right room. Got that sorted out along with the sparkling wine. Time for our couples massage! Checked in at the spa, very easy, very nice people. One massage therapist comes out and grabs me. I asked if my wife is coming back with us? She looked confused. We told her we booked a couples massage. This was booked over the phone when I booked the room/entire evening. They said they would have to look to see if they can do a couples massage. We got “lucky” and they had a room set up for one that was booked at a later time. The massage itself was great, definitely recommend the hot rock treatment.
    Time for dinner!
I booked the outdoor fire table experience, because hey it’s our 10 year anniversary so why the hell not. Sure it’s $50 a person added to the bill just for the privilege to sit outside with your own fire table, but the view is amazing. The food….didn’t hit the mark like it always has before. First thing that comes is the bread and a butter candle. The server lights it and it melts the butter onto the plate and mixes with the oil and balsamic. Pretty cool really, but there was a breeze that day, don’t blame the Salish for that one the poor server tried and tried to make it work. The bread itself was hard and unpleasant so we didn’t end up eating it anyways. I’m a guy who likes a good crust, but not one that feels like it’s going to take a tooth while eating it. We had an appetizer the burrata with arugula and was just bland bitter. We shared the Halibut and that was good, not great, but good. At this point I was thinking maybe I’m off and not feeling this or something. Skip ahead for a second to breakfast in the room. It was amazing! Nothing bad to say about that. Avocado toast and smoky omelette. Top notch and just amazing. So after dinner we just called it a night. At that point we both felt kinda disappointed. We just wanted to watch some tv. We always bring our fire stick with us so we can continue to watch what ever show we are watching together at the time. Got it all hooked up no problem, but the internet is running so slow it can’t load any apps. When it finally did start our show, it just buffered the entire time. Again, not the biggest problem out there, but when all the little things add up and you spend a good amount of money for a 5 star experience, it just fell very short.

  • What good is the spa and pool if you can’t use it?

  • Good food, reasonable price and good service

  • Traveler from New England here. Our family absolutely loves staying at The Salish Lodge when visiting Washington. The location (and falls) were the reason we first came, the customer service and beautiful hotel are the reasons we will keep coming back.

  • I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best stay I’ve ever had; I’ve stayed in hotels across the country and Ireland. I dream about this hotel.

The grounds are like touring a private, well-maintained garden. Right outside, Snoqualmie Falls provides epic scenery for photos and a sound that puts you at ease.

The staff, from valet to the lobby, made us feel like rock stars ❤️ We were welcomed with a crackling fireplace and the scent of pine *swoon*, and you’re handed a (free) small glass of their signature drink(s), which was refreshing.

Everything is clean, views are spectacular, and you will never regret spending a bit more on this ‘experience’ instead of a boring hotel room.

  • Went for happy hour, but the bartender don’t know how to make a drink. Too bad. Nice place

  • Wish I had a better report as my overall experience wasn’t the best
    IMO this place is overrated
I expected more for what I payed
Booked a room about six months ago for our first anniversary.
Overall service just was not very good. They had a wedding going on so the management closed the ATtic bar to all the regular guests. The only other option was the Dining room which we ate at the first night and it was REALLY expensive –
We upgraded to the 268 club which I thought would’ve offered a better breakfast (it honestly sucked ) and both days I had to walk around to find someone to refill the coffee pot ( the lady never came back to assist the 2nd day so I didn’t even get any )
The waterfall hot tub thing they offer is NOT worth it as it’s not really even private – people can see you if they just look over. The rest of the spa is nice tho – my facial was really good I will add !
I thought we were supposed to get a big bath tub in our room but for some reason they made us move to one that just had a shower which I wanted to take a bath so that was disappointing. I think the bed needs a new mattress as well as my back hurt both nights.

We stayed at Willows Lodge prior to this and IMO that was better!
Also, I recommend checking the bill when you leave. We checked ours and they had an $132 error on it that wasn’t in our favor – the guy happily corrected it but still… I’m sure a lot of people don’t even check those all the time

  • A bunch of water falling off a cliff.
    WOW
I wanna stay here next trip!

  • Exceptional service, excellent restaurant. The falls are magnificent. Pretty expensive, though.
