My boyfriend and I came here for a couples massage and it was awesome! The massage therapists we had were very kind and did a wonderful job. I loved the relaxation room. It was definitely really expensive, but at least it was worth it!
For over 700 bucks a night, there was no real creamer, no mini fridge, no soaker tub in room. 4th floor and the view had much to be desired. I had stayed here 15 years ago and recall much better accommodations for way less on a ground floor room. We had a fireplace, and we could call for wood anytime. Mini fridge stocked full of airplane booze bottles, soaker tub with mounds of salts and the room was big and the view was way better. Gas fireplaces seem to have taken the place of wood. I mean probably a challenged guest had an issue with fireplace lol because we don’t care about efficient when we’re staying abroad. It’s more about the feel of ambiance and being spoiled with luxury items. But we couldn’t even wake up and stay in bed with coffee. There was 3 little tiny creamers you find at gas stations or cafes. That’s almost an insult. The coffee in the room def needed sugar n creamer to make an it taste ok to stomach it but not really. No welcome gifts on the bed either. Al in all our stay was so lacking. For 700 and having my girl with me was embarrassing for me and it was her first stay. Her take was she couldn’t believe the cost and what we got. If you want to try the place and have any expectations, clarify thoroughly before committing. I should have rented a super car and taken my girl somewhere out instead of staying in.
We did not stay in the lodge. We went there for lunch, which was wonderful! The clam chowder was delicious.
The rooms were cosy and service was good. However, the dinner was hardly worth it for the price. Entres were WAY over priced as we sent dishes back to the kitchen simply because they were aweful. The apple desert was amazing. If you stay here eat elsewhere unless you enjoy paying too much for subpar food. Only exception was desert.
One of our best experiences to date. Place was gorgeous!
Excellent service, amenities, and restaurant. Quiet and relaxing.
Over priced at 350nite
Restaurant more than 30min wait???
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Fire place was on point. Rooms are super clean. I reccomend the Premium Room with the Bay View. Very spacious and a good size for a family of 5. Comes with the King bed with the Sleeper Sofa that folds out into a large Queen bed. Private balcony is also included and the bathtub has a Jacuzzi. Our family loved it and will be referring friends and clients to this property! Thank you for a great experience!!!
Ain’t never been there but I love the landscape
One of a kind setting. Impeccable, attentive service. Amazing dishes, best pork chop ever!
We always have an incredible time at Salish! The food is so good that even after 20yrd in the industry, I can’t describe it. The patio rooms are a particular favorite, because you can’t beat the soaking tubs and fire pits. Even if the fire pits are only allowed to be on until 10pm 🙂
Fair warning, there’s a lack of food options between the end of dinner service at 9pm, and breakfast service the next day. So if you’re a late night snacker like myself, pack some. Also, if you’re allergic to lavender like I am, pack your own toiletries. Because the in room toiletries and hotel bathroom soap are mint lavender.
A side note for autistic folks like myself (or anyone with sensory sensitivities) about The Attic. It’s an *amazing* bar space with a view of the falls, incredible drinks, fab food, and a pizza oven. But every time we’re there, someone brings a baby who ends up screaming. It echoes like crazy in that space and it’s a nightmare if you’re sensory sensitive. I’d spend an obscene amount of money there if I knew that it was 18 and over. Or even if I knew the staff were empowered to ask guests to take screaming kids away. If you’re not sound sensitive, it’s probably going to be perfect for you.
Sensory and allergy issues aside, please go spend your money here. The whole experience is one you’ll never forget!
