My nose was uneven due to it being broken twice. I made the mistake of going to Dr. Portuese, who actually made my nose worse. Dr. Larrabee had to fix it. Typically you have to wait 12 months before repairing a nose, but my nose was so bad Dr. Larrabee had to do the first repair at 7 months.
Dr. Larrabee is a extremely ethical, kind person. Dr Larrabee devotes much of his time volunteering in the Global Surgical Outreach program in 3rd world countries.

Dr. Larrabee was wonderful; he listened to my concerns and even tho we had a communication “glitch”, he went all out to make it right – no problem. He and his staff are all extremely professional, friendly and caring. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and all is taken care of
I went to the Larrabee clinic for filler several years ago and had the worst experience of my life. It took 5 years for the lumps to subside. They put the wrong product in fine lines. When I went to show Dr. Larrabee he stated “I’m sorry this happened for you, but not for us”. Unethical.
Watch out worst combination of fake kindness and prejudice, You Will pay for what’s he considers you should get!
Not a good experience at all
Dr Larrabee is a good surgeon and a nice guy. My problem is not with his ability as a surgeon, it is with his clinics inability to appropriately handle a botched upper bleph he gave me 30 years ago. It was actually the 3rd procedure he performed on my eyes that ended up scarring me for life. I was happy with his work on the first 2 but I needed a little more lift to improve my visual field, so he made one more attempt. unfortunately for me, this time he made deep cuts OVER the top of my eye brows which resulted in divits appearing whenever a light shines above me. The cuts also caused me to lose some feeling in my forehead. The effect of what he did can best be summed up by his own clinics reaction to seeing them. I came back a few years after the botched surgery to get the scars filled in as temp relief, and the lady who did intake pics looked at me as if I was just in an accident and said, “do you mind if I ask who did this to you?” I replied sure, your clinic. I stopped going to the Larabee clinic many years ago because I realized they didnt want to fix their mistake but instead wanted to use it as an opportunity to charge me full price to fill in the scars. Recently I have seen other cosmetic surgeons to try to fix this. so far no luck. They all look at me and ask the same question, who did this to you?
The most Dr.Larabee is the most compassionate and amazing surgeon!

Dr Larrabee gave me an S-lift (lower facelift) 15 or 20 years ago and the results were – and still are – amazing. Thinking about maybe maybe doing something else so I checked to see if he’s still practicing. I wrote this review because it bugs me when people give a 1 star review for things like not wanting to pay a consult fee; that has nothing to do with his skills or how you’re treated pre and post op. As I recall, the fee went toward paying for your procedure if you decide to go ahead. I believe they want to spend time with people who are SERIOUSLY considering it – who have done research on their own and given it a lot of thought- not someone for whom it would be sort of a lark but are unlikely to go any further.

Had a Revision Rhinoplasty done about 3 years ago and the results were not good…I went to this doctor thinking that all his experience would help my case but my nose looks worse now.I would not recommend this doctor impossible to get a hold of and is not open to options.He made my nose look bigger than before and now I have to go fix it yet again.
Dr. Larrabee was able to help fix my unraveling stitches (from a few days prior at the ER) on very short notice.
I went to Dr. Larrabee’s office after an accident that left my bridge of my nose sliced open and a cut under my eye that required stitches and skin glue. I was really nervous that the stitch job from the hospital wasn’t going to leave me with minimal scarring, so I went on to visit his office the next day. When I called and said I had been in an accident the previous day he made an opening for me right away and assessed me with the utmost most attention and care. He referred me to his associate Lauren upstairs that does injections and laser/light therapy, and after just 3 sessions of the IPL/Fraxel laser, MY SCARS ARE GONE! I was so worried that my face would be altered forever and Dr. Larrabee and Lauren really saved me from a lifetime of confidence issues.5/5!!

Dr. Larrabee is a very caring and talented surgeon. I did a great deal of research before proceeding with my facelift. My due diligence brought me to the Larrabee Center. My entire experience from first visit to final result was exceptional. In addition to being a skilled surgeon Dr. Larrabee is a good teacher, explaining the process well giving me clear understanding of the procedure, expectations, and recovery. The results of my facelift look very natural and I am extremely pleased. Throughout the entire process I got the clear impression that Dr. Larrabee was keenly concerned that I be happy with my result.
Charges consultation fee…what a ripoff. I get it is for the time but you should first hear if its something you want or not.
