Best, quickest, painless Brazilian I’ve had done! Highly recommend
A lovely spa located inside the Fairmont hotel. It’s clean, staff are professional. I did a sugaring and it was quick and neat!
I had a manicure and pedicure and it was okay but I didn’t get much of a massage with it. I had Tina and she doesn’t really massage with the manicure and pedicure. For the price you pay there I did expect a little massage. I talked to someone else in the waiting room who also had the massage and pedicure and she said she got a nice massage so it just depends on who you get. Tina did an okay job on the manicure and pedicure but nothing better than you’d get anywhere else. I didn’t feel like it was worth the price they charge. One of the girls at the front desk has an attitude, too. Everyone else is nice.
I’ve had two mediocre massages here. Shame on me for going back
On the most recent one I had requested a deep tissue massage and basically got a brusque skin rub. Regardless of what type of massage the client requests, the masseur should be trained to not only ask up front the level of pressure, but then check 5-10 minutes in if the pressure is right. Really good places also ask if the music is good and what scent oil to use. On top of not using adequate pressure, she didn’t know what she was doing. For $200, I expect a trained masseur. Won’t be returning or recommending.
3 stars is a generous rating. This is not what you would expect from Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
This business is not ADA accessible. Also, they’ve had some trouble scheduling appointments at the right times, so you may show up and find out you missed your appointment. I love almost all of the techs that work here, but wow. They should find a better spa.
For how expensive this place is I was very disappointed. Staff at the front desk were rude. The nail technician rushed through my manicure and pedicure saying she was behind schedule. I got put in a chair in the hallway to wait for my nails to dry. Completely overpriced for the quality and experience.
High end day spa. This is an intimate spa where exceptional care is given. I have enjoyed facials, massage, and mani/pedi services here. Prices are slightly higher at this spa than most others. However, you do have the option to pay $1,000.00 up front to join an annual membership to receive special member pricing on services as well as special promotions throughout the year. With membership is included 12 jade infrared pod visits.
Very clean & Nice location ! Great selection to pick from on the menu! I went for a signature massage which was very relaxing after a long day! Thanks 😃
Great customer service, many options available on the spa menu
Lovely boutique spa in the heart of downtown Seattle. During my stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, I visited their in house spa for a deep tissue massage. I requested a therapist who could do a deep, trigger point / neuromuscular treatment and I had a 50 minute massage with Ben that was exactly as promised. He was very skilled, listened to my preferences and I felt much better afterwards. A reminder to massage staff, though- always knock before re-entering the massage room 🙂 Also, other women like myself (who have breast implants or who are pregnant) would appreciate a cut-out massage cushion so they could lie face down comfortably. I was offered towels to roll up, which is awkward at best. Nevertheless, it was a great treatment! After my massage, I inquired at the front desk about their skin care lines. Since I did not have a facial, they did not evaluate my skin care needs. The girl at the desk patiently explained the different product lines and suggested a starter product for me to try. She kindly gave me a generous variety of samples and also a whole package of a certain type of gauze needed to apply one that I purchased! Overall, I was very impressed with treatment quality and client service and would highly recommend the Penelope spa!
Fantastic– beautiful space, Michaela and Gunna are wonderful.
