This isn’t a typical spa with a quiet and serene atmosphere if you are getting a manicure or pedicure service. You are put in a small room right next to another guest and your manicurist is constantly asked to move because another person needs to lead a guest into the back area. I didn’t receive the best quality manicure or pedicure either. For their spa prices I would have expected better quality and service.
My experience was exceptional from the moment I arrived up until I checked out. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. All of the services I received (massage, body wrap, facial, dry brushing and infrared pod) were amazing and I left feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommend Penelope and The Beauty Bar to anyone looking for a wonderful first class spa experience!
Best pedicure in the city! My heels are always dry and cracked even after a regular pedicure. The Penelope dry pedicure makes my feet baby soft and they stay like that for over a month!
Went here for the first time as gift my boyfriend got me. He bought it off Expedia which unfortunately caused problems with not actually booking an apt, thankfully when I called they were able to fit me in the day that was reserved from the voucher! Very relaxing feel, clean, and everyone is extremely friendly!

They cancelled my appointment last minute BUT we’re able to accommodate me in the same day free of charge . How great is that customer service ?! It was my very first time getting sugared and I was a little nervous , wasn’t sure what to expect. Elizabeth took GREAT care of me , she explained what the sugaring was made out of, she explained to me how it works and EVERYTHING, not to mention she was super sweet and made sure I was okay. I will definitely be back and I’ll definitely tell everyone I know to come and check you guys out

I took my wife here a few years back and this is what happened to us. Talked to the owner and their ‘”doctor” and that was their response. So stay away unless you like being humiliated and brought to tears.
The level of conceit and the haughty attitude they gave us was beyond belief. We don’t usually spend money like this and it was supposed to be a nice treat. I hope they read this and think about what kind of people they are.

Got a great deal on a Groupon here and I’ve been so pleasantly surprised. First sugaring was really good but my next sugaring with Elizabeth was amazing! So quick and detail oriented! Highly recommend. Also the spa is inside the Olympic hotel which is lovely and worth a peek inside anyway.
