Great overall experience. Customer service and facilities were excellent. Staff was very friendly. Our pedicures were both pretty good and they attended to us for the full hour. Would come back again next time we are in the area. Parking knocked this down 1 star since it’s expensive and inconvenient, even with validation.
The atmosphere in the spa is everything one would hope – relaxing, and zen. The front desk team is just the right amount of helpful and respectful, and extremely competent & knowledgeable. Most of all – Ben’s massage was outstanding. He completely listened to my preference and exceeded expectations. I would come back every day if I could!
I recently moved to Seattle from the east coast and have been searching for a proper spa for quite some time. PBB exceeded my expectations and is by far the best spa in the city. I got the hydro facial finished with BR products that made my skin baby soft. Lisa knew exactly which range worked best for my skin and I’ve been happy with her product recommendations; highly recommend her for skin of color. Overall, super welcoming environment and the spa shop has everything you could possibly want if you are a BR fan.

Quinn and Chau were very friendly and super accommodating. They did a great job. I appreciated their flexibility.
I was visiting from San Francisco and used a Groupon for an 80 minute massage. Elizabeth was amazing! She knew exactly how to maneuver knots without any pain. This place is so upscale and getting a massage there is a whole experience. The Prosecco was great too! Want to come back when I’m in Seattle next for a facial, perhaps!
Be aware of the mandatory 18% tip. I am charged 50 dollars as a tip and they do not mention this when scheduling. This is not common. Typically if you go to a clinic, you will not need to tip the nurse; if you work with an aethistic, you tips 10-20 dollars. This is ridiculous. The room is super small and the service is fast. It is much more expensive than other places, especially with the 50 dollars tip.
I just had the “Cure” treatment on Friday. I felt completely pampered and relaxed with the excellent service, wonderful massage, and fabulous facial. Each person I came into contact with seemed to absolutely love their job which set me up to know I was going to love the “Cure”. 5-star experience for sure!
You get what you pay for! Place was very nice, staff were professional- definitely good at what they do. Highly recommended! LGBT friendly
The actual spa is in a really great place (inside the hotel) and the decor and overall customer service that they provide is of course great.
I am very particular about estheticians. I usually get the red carpet treatment or European facial. I received 5 facials all from different people. I waited to write a review until I found an exceptional one which I did!
Cassy is amazing!! She went above and beyond and was very meticulous and detailed when working on my face.

Both Alyse and Sonja were amazingly thoughtful, kind and thorough in their services. I was pleased by my experience with them and from the point i entered the Salon. I felt welcomed immediately. I felt I would be well cared for and that creating a great experience was priority.

What a treat to be pampered at Penelope and The Beauty Bar. I was completely spoiled with the “Red Carpet” treatment. Aislinn was knowledgeable and talented and I enjoyed every minute of my facial, dry brushing, and body wrap. The products were heavenly and it was such a treat to enjoy a glass of Prosecco. Thank you so much to Aislinn for making me feel extra special during my San Francisco get away!
Love the tech Donna! Service is great. Place is clean and love the decor. They always got the most beautiful floral arrangements in their sitting area.
This review is for Brazilian sugaring at the Beauty Bar. Alysse is newer to the salon and is just a breath of fresh air! I feel like I’m seeing a girlfriend every time I see her and we just chat through the appointment and it feels over in a flash, even though beauty is pain. 😉 I appreciate her approach and how down-to-earth she is. It definitely stands out from others I’ve seen here and does not go unnoticed. The staff at the front desk is also usually nice, but sometimes has a bit of a condescending tone.
