Jeff was Amazing!
I absolutely love Penelope & the Beauty Bar! I come in for pampering whenever I can! It’s beautiful inside, staff is always kind and professional! Amina does the best sugaring and facials. She’s so kind, quick, clean, and it’s almost painless! I’m obsessed with the Jade pod, it’s a must especially before a massage by one of their amazing massage therapists!
Alejandra was exceptional with our experience here at Penelope. 10/10 strongly recommend!
I recently started my hair removal laser. And I’m amazed of the results I’m starting to see.
So far I’ve a session and the hair is really taking its time to grow back. And the ones that grow just fall.
I can’t wait to finish all the sessions, if this is just the beginning I can’t imagine the great results I’ll get.
I got a good deal in Groupon, there are discounts for deferential hoy parts.
If you go, ask for Cassi she’s such a great technician.
Purchased the $150 couples foot massage, overall experience was very underwhelming and way over priced with the expected $32/ each mandatory tip. The bed was comfortable, massage was mediocre and really just felt like lotion being rubbed, I even asked for more pressure but didn’t notice a difference. You can get the same experience or even better for a quarter of the price anywhere else. This has a luxury vibe but the salon was in a makeshift room and not luxurious by any means. Staff were all polite.
There is a reason it’s on Groupon.
I still feel very mad at what they did to me.
Last time i should have booked a full hour massage, and that day, I arrive 5 min late because of the rain. Then the therapist did the ‘preparation’ for 10 more min. It turned out I only had less than 30 min massage.
But they still asked me to pay the whole hour price after I explained the whole situation.
Luxury price but poor services. Never recommending this. I’ve had much better experience at Elaia spa, cheaper, nicer and they have a pool!!!
Beautiful atmosphere with a skilled and accommodating staff. I’ll be returning.
Luxury prices with mediocre services. All of the staff were lovely and were able to squeeze me in last minute which was appreciated.
Facial: honestly for being close to $300 this was one of the worst facials I have ever gotten. They bring you to a room down the hall and behind the nail salon into a teeeeny tiny box with a bed less comfortable then hospital beds. It felt like a room you your eyebrows waxed at a cheap salon. My lady was nice, and massaged my face well. But I have NEVER been left alone in a room in the middle of a facial for 15 min while having a facemask on. Every other places that are far cheaper will give you a arm/hand massage, head massage, something while the facial is soaking in. She was also 5 min late plus the 15 minutes she wasn’t doing anything. Confused why I spent close to $300 on this anything but luxury facial.
Spa Cupping: honestly Carmela was amazing, the room was nice and bed was way more comfortable than the first. She was constantly massaging some part of my body while the cupping was going on at my back and oh so lovely to chat with. She was fabulous 10/10. This was also cheaper than the facial while she did x20 times the work.
This place is amazing for massages. I had deep tissue massage of 80 mins, absolutely worth the money! My masseuse Emily was amazing, she made me feel comfortable. The moment I entered they offered me beverages. It is located inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The ambience everything was rich and great! Definitely would recommend it to people.
For all the pregnant mamas out there – Tia does the BEST prenatal massage. Seriously, it’s life changing! It’s hard to find a prenatal massage that is both gentile but really works all those aching pregnancy muscles (looking at you hips and back). I would not have gotten through the third trimester, especially those last few weeks, without her. And bonus, after the baby is born and you are looking to sneak away for some much needed self care, her post natal massages are equally AMAZING! Worth every penny!
Yes it’s pricey, but I would go anywhere else to get a Brazilian Sugar Wax! Vicky and Alysse are so great and the remainder of the staff is so polite!!! Worth every penny.
If you’re Black, please beware. Very rude and unaccommodating. This is supposed to be a high end spa, so they seem to expect that Black ppl cannot afford to patronize. I’ve never been treated so badly in my life! I won’t be returning.
Go see Ameena and elys. They are the best
Highly overrated. They don’t give any time to confirm appointment. Finally when I was able to get an appointment the service was sub-standard and the staff not so nice. Not a Fairmont experience. I had better Fairmont spa experience in Toronto, Lake Louise and Quebec city.
I’ve been going here for years for my services. Almost 10yrs -Donna is amazing
