I first saw Blanca in March 2016 for a birthday treat. Since then, my skin has never been better as I took her advice and have been treating my skin well. I’ve also done some vein therapy with great results! This is my go-to place for my skincare!
I just turned 44 and decided it was time to get my first facial. Blanca made my skin shine and I dare you to tell me that I look a day over 34. 🙂

I stumbled upon Blue Haven due to its many great reviews and I am so happy that I did. Blanca is an amazing esthetician. Not only is she very sweet and personable, but she has expert knowledge of skincare. For my first appointment, she took a good amount of time discussing my skin regimen before diving in. She genuinely cares about her clients and what is best for them. She is particularly skilled in Dermaplaning, which is a teqnique I do not see a lot of in Seattle, or anywhere. She is the one that first introduced me to it since I have a tendency of getting ‘peach fuzz’ on my face. Right after my appointment my skin was immediately glowing and extremely soft. The treatment gives you an instant glow. She basically uses a blade to take off the dead skin on your face. It just feels like someone is lightly scratching your face. It does not hurt one bit. Also- you would think that the hair would grow back thicker and faster but it really doesn’t. If it did, I wouldn’t be going back. I really cannot say enough good things about Blanca.
Just had Blanca do my facial. Looks great and feels great. My daughter and her boyfriend noticed how great my skin looked and how healthy and glowing! Can’t wait for my next one!
I received a facial from Blanca and I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was!!! From the moment I walked in the front door I felt very welcome. Nicole at the front desk was extremely helpful and so sweet. Blanca did an amazing job and was great to explain the procedure to me. My skin is so soft and even after just the one time I could feel a difference! I can’t wait to go back to see her again!!! Love this place and would recommend it to anyone!!!

Blanca is an excellent esthetician. I was previously used to facials that required a day or two of down time. Blanca explained to me that the condition of my skin was due to the continual trauma of very aggressive facials. She is extremely knowledgeable of her field and of product. She improved the appearance of my skin in a short period of time. I am grateful I found her. The medical setting of the spa is extremely clean and second to none. Nicole, receptionist and office manager, is another asset to the staff. Always professional, courteous and welcoming. To come to Blue Haven is a wonderful experience every time.
Blanca is the best! She knows skin. I am always referring people to her. I had pretty bad acne, and just after two sessions, I already saw a drastic change in my skin. Plus, she has great energy and a hoot to be around. The staff at BH are always so kind and welcoming. Nicole always has a smile on her face. If you haven’t been here, go! Dr. Killey is a super nice guy with heaps of knowledge. I haven’t met the other two doctors yet, but I am sure they are just as great as everyone else.
Best experience I’ve ever had. Blanca Marie Ruiz-Gutierrez is the best in the world. I travel from Australia to see her because she knows my skin and understands what I like. Her partner in the business, is amazing too and I would travel around the world to see them both. You are luck if you live in Seattle and can go when you want. I recommend her to all my friends. If you are looking for a very knowledgeable and fantastic place for a facial, Blanca is the one. I have had several facials around town and this was the best I’ve ever had. My skin did not have any negative reactions afterwards, as can sometimes happen. But was fabulous for several days. I have already made another appointment I was so pleased.
I love getting facials from Blanca Gutierrez! She’s extremely knowledgable about how to keep your skin happy, healthy and youthful not only through the services she offers as the spa, but also through things you can do at home in between facials. She puts you at ease and you leave feeling relaxed with smoother, glowing skin.

I thought facials were for girly girls that like getting pampered. During the open house event at Blue Haven Blanca educated me on what their purpose was, and I tried it out. Turns out they are wonderful! It was really relaxing, I even got a neck, shoulder, and arm massage. Blanca explained everything she was doing and why. She told me how I could reduce the chance of getting skin cancer, both in my daily life and with her professional expertise, which is really important to me because skin cancer runs in my family. My skin looks great now, and I know that’s not my imagination because my husband immediately commented that he could see a difference. I learned that I not only enjoy getting facials, but that they have genuine health benefits. Blanca is awesome, and not just because she’s good at what she does, but it was also really fun to chat with her. Thank you Blanca!
Blanca has been working on my skin for over five months and she has done miracles! She is so fun and great to work with. Blanca is very soft and takes very good care of your skin. She has worked hard to get my acne under control and has provided wonderful tips that have proven to make my skin so much better. Blanca always works with your schedule and always follows up after appointments, she’s very helpful if you have any questions before and/or after any treatment. I highly recommend booking and working with Blanca.

Love this place! They provided me with an excellent service and very nice people. It’s a little hard to find on Lake Union now but that whole things should go away when they move. Will definitely be going back!
My experience was very professional, the staff was prompt, and kept me informed of what to expect during my spider vein treatments. The treatment had positive effects and was well worth the time and money. I would definitely recommend this medical spa to family and friends.
