  • Everyone at the clinics from front staff to Jennifer Hall is wonderful. Professional and courteous.

  • Honestly, just listen to the other reviews that say it much better than I could. The staff was rude and extremely difficult to get ahold of. Definitely not going to go back — there’s certainly enough other options that you don’t need to put up with this place.

  • Love love love this Clinic. I’m a huge fan of the staff at Island Dermatology. The physicians assistants are skilled and knowledgeable.The reception staff is amazing. Parking is easy. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment.

  • They don’t answer the phone or reply to emails. They don’t always honor appointments.

  • I contacted them about scheduling an appointment for a skin condition that popped up. They denied the appointment saying that “they didn’t know enough” about the type of skin condition I was describing and pointed me to my PCP. I lived with the skin condition as my primary care provider wasn’t immediately available until I reached a breaking point and called them again to try and schedule an appointment. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and then suddenly hung up on me without having answered any of my questions or even tried to schedule an appointment.

    I can see what the other one star reviews mean by bad front desk service. This is literally the worst I’ve ever been treated by a medical provider and if they don’t know how to assess skin issues how can they even call themselves a dermatologist?

    Find somewhere else.

  • Really rude receptionist who scolded me for not bringing a mask even though I haven’t worn one in 6 months because they are not required anymore then after waiting 20 minutes in the waiting room after arriving at 8:05 for a 8am appt before work they tell me they need to reschedule me because I was “late”. Why didn’t they tell me that when I arrived?!!!! I will never go here again very unprofessional.

  • I have been a patient here for over 5 years. The first 4 or so years were great, excellent service and skilled physicians and nurses. However, in the last year (mid 2021 – mid 2022), there has been a huge decline in the front office service. It’s not that the staff is rude… you simply won’t be able to get a hold of a human when you call…ever.

    You will be on hold for 20mins at least and then be prompted to leave a message with a guarantee of a callback within 24 hours. But no one will call you back. You can try contacting them via the website, but that won’t work either. Total radio silence.

    I have a prescription from the office that I’ve been trying to get refilled for over a week now. I can’t reach them and neither can my pharmacy. I now have to go on a trip out of town without my medicine and need to now find a reliable dermatologist once I’m back. So I’ll be out of meds for at least 2 weeks. You definitely don’t want to be relying on this office if you have a serious need for a refill.

    I’m not sure the doctors running the office realize their front office staff is destroying their business. Steer well clear of this place if you value your time and sanity.

  • I had the worst medical appointment experience of my life here, a month ago. I told them it was my first time seeing a dermatologist and I had some general curiosity about skincare, in addition to the immediate topic I made the appointment about. The doctor walked in and didn’t ask me any questions to understand my concerns, jumped right into a brochure-style conversation she had clearly given 1000+ times, and prescribed me something without confirming I even wanted to go in that treatment direction. My entire appointment was 10 minutes. And then, getting the prescribed items has been a nightmare. Only one of three items was ready quickly, and calling the office to find out about the rest just results in them promising to call back after they confirm something, but then they never call me or the pharmacy.

    This place is a mess. I don’t recommend it.

  • I have been trying to contact this provider for the past 3 weeks about a prescription and they rarely pick up. And when they do, they tell me to wait until they call me back, which they haven’t.

    Their answers to my questions about my prescriptions are that some kind of form needs to be signed which they still have not updated me about 3 weeks after the consultation. When frustrated that I had not heard from them about my prescription, last week I called them again and the operator lady after hearing what I had to say did not say a word and just transferred me to another lady who informed me that the prescriptions had already been sent and were ready for pickup.

    Hearing this I immediately went to my pharmacy to pick it up and was informed by the pharmacists that the form had not been signed by my provider and it is solely dependent on them being proactive and signing it as soon as possible.

    They still have not signed off on it, and I have to return to school in a different state at the end of next week. And since the form is only valid with the specific pharmacy that it has signed off on, I needed to know whether I needed to send it to a different pharmacy or whether I could collect the medication in time. When calling them about this, the lady said that the medical assistant would let me know soon and that was 2 days ago with no callback.

    I tried calling them on 16 different occasions today, from when they open around 8 am to when they close at 5 pm. When I tried calling them at around 4:19 pm they had already closed shop without ever calling me back. They do not work on the weekends and I left a voicemail voicing my frustrations and that I wished to cancel an upcoming appointment for a different matter I had planned to get consulted on.

    I believe I have been patient enough, and that this lazy service is ridiculous and a waste of time and money.

  • Lost my business due to implementation of new phone system. I have been unable to reach someone directly at the office and continue to be transferred to other locations under Seattle Skin and Laser.

  • Dr. Jennifer Huwaldt-Hall was knowledgeable and efficient. She took care of my issues and gave me friendly useful information.
