I can’t recommend this place enough! I saw Dr Bowers for a series of 3 IPL treatments to treat some redness and capillary damage, as I have sensitive skin and am outside a lot for work. The treatments have definitely helped the problem areas on my face and as a bonus, they really do help with brightening the complexion overall and stimulating collagen production. I’m in my mid 30s and This was my first experience with a medical spa and seeing a doctor for these treatments is the way to go. I always feel taken care of and supported by Dr. Bower’s medical knowledge, it’s affordable, and this place is definitely LGBTQ friendly. Please pay them a visit!
Such a great group of skilled individuals. I was new to town and really nervous to find a new provider because I am so picky and particular about who is working on my skin.. I feel so greatful to have found Be Well. Highly recommend and I don’t hand out compliments lightly.

I’m so glad I discovered Be Well. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly, & Dr. Bowers is a perfectionist. He knew just what I needed to refresh my skin with treatments that will be long lasting & gave me the best value. Plus, he’s a real MD so prescriptions are covered by insurance. My skin feels great & friends have commented on how healthy it looks.
Dr. Bowers and his staff are amazing! I have been going to Be Well for a little over a year, focusing on some skin resurfacing. Doctor Bowers is the definition of a great doctor, he has passion for his work, caring bedside manner, knowledgeable, decisive, creative for each patient, calming energy, attentive and listens to what YOU want or need. He even asks me my opinion on results at the moment of treatment and afterwards. Doctor Bowers seems to truly care about me when I’m with him or even over the phone. I was never over sold products either which other offices seem to push. I also should add I had zero wait time for my appts, which is so important to me! I could see instant results after my office visit for laser treatment and have already recommended this office to a friend because I felt so confident in services rendered. I have returned twice because of the trust I have in Doctor Bowers. What other “spa” or “beauty” salon can you say you are under the care of a physician?! Doctor Bowers was first an RN which added to his credibility in my eyes that he likes what he does and finds joy in helping others feel their best!
On June 25,2020. I went to Be Well Medical in Lynnwood for a Lip filler and Botox appointment. Prior to this appointment, I’ve had over 8 years experience with Botox injection. The Botox injection method he used is very different than any other injections I’ve had in the past. I requested Botox injections on my jam area. In the past, the doctors would inject Botox at multiple point, spread the Botox out evenly around the area requested. Dr. James Bowers MD on the hand injection the whole injection at one spot. When I asked him why he did that, he told me that it’s his technique. I had injection to both sides of my face, but my right side had lasting side effects. For two weeks, I couldn’t chew, swallow, smile or taste on my right side of my face.
After two weeks, I was still unable to feel my cheek move or lift my lip on the right side of my face, so I called the doctor to see him again and see if there was anything he could do or know what went wrong. I saw him on July 16,2020. The doctor explained that the Botox injection ran down my cheek and made all the muscle on the right side of my face dead. The doctor instructed me to treat the right side of my face by massaging and heating it nightly. That was all, I had to deal with it myself. I paid almost $900 for a flawed injection that gave me a weird smile, awkward face, and going on over a month of issues with swallowing and chewing.
When you mess up someone’s face, you should have the decency to at least offer a make-up treatment, a discount or some money back. This is someone’s face!
The doctor offered nothing and no follow up from the doctor to inquire about my recovery. This type of service is unacceptable and a warning to anyone that might consider using him. If anything goes wrong, you’ll get no help and neglect.

“Sorry to hear that you had less than a perfect experience at Be Well. Yes, you had to let the effects of the Botox wear off and I did recommend massage and facial movements to help the Botox wear off faster. I also asked that you check in to see me after our second visit if you were still experiencing the sensory issues on your right face, but you did not.”
As you can read from the owner’s response, the lack of empathy and responsibility of their actions only help me validate the value they have for their customers. You provide a medical/cosmetics service.
The fact that you messed up my face and smile and call it a “LESS THAN PERFECT EXPERIENCE “ is a gross misrepresentation of the harm you cause.
To be honest, the reason I personally haven’t contacted you after our 2nd visit, is because of your entire lack of concern and remedy for this situation.
I saw the doctor for 10-15 minutes. He told me to massage the face myself and to BUY STUFF TO HEAL MY FACE WITH MY OWN MONEY FOR THEIR MISTAKES.
REMEMBER!!! I paid $900 for this injection the least they could do is supply the stuff to treat my face that moment to show that they cared.
Before leaving I asked the doctor “is there anything you could do for my face? He said NO, HE CANNOT DO ANYTHING and then had the audacity to try and sell me on an injection for my chin and a hair removal treatment.
The other reason I haven’t contacted you, is because you asked me to follow-up with you on your mistake. I shouldn’t have to follow-up with you. If you cared about your customers, it is your responsibility to follow- up with your patient.
The fact that you didn’t even offer to follow-up on my progress, but I still get text messages from you about buying other treatment also confirms your priorities.
A quick recap to whoever is reading this review; THEY MESS-UP, THEN TELL YOU WE DON’T CARE, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. wanna buy another injection? Call me, cause I’m not going to check-in on my mess-up, but I will text you to sell you on more injection though.
Is this the kind of place you would want to go or trust to inject anything into your body. If you’re willing to risk it, go ahead. But I’m going to find a better doctor with a better bedside manner.
I liked the doctor and the staff but the laser treatment did not work for me at all. The hair grew back like it was before the treatment. I’m definitely frustrated but i guess I can’t do anything else.
THE BEST place! I was able to get in same day for my consult & service! Dr Bowers & staff are friendly, professional & fun! I will never go anywhere else for these services and will make sure I refer my friends, family & clients to Be Well! I’m looking forward to my beauty journey with them! Highly recommend!

Dr. James Bowers is awesome. I love the fact that he is an actual M.D. unlike with most aesthetic places. Since turning 50 two years ago my skin started looking dull and the red blotchiness was getting more noticeable. I did laser treatment and it was fantastic improvement! I recommend opting for the laughing gas for pain. I’ve also been going to him for laser scar treatment. I’m so glad I found out about this! Now I see his master aesthetician for facials too and she is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
