Northwest Face is setup so much better than any UW Medicine clinic.
First of all, when you call for an appt. you speak directly with the clinic.
At a UW medicine clinic, you get an answering service.
I tried to schedule an appt. with UW Medicine to never be able to speak direct with any clinic. When the clinics returned my second hand message from the call center, I couldn’t call them back.
They would leave their name and number, which gets you into the call center. The call center wouldn’t believe that I was returning a phone call.
Northwest Face is by far and away the best place for any ear nose or throats issue, not to mention the doctor wasn’t booked up 4 weeks out.
I’ll never go to another UW Medicine clinic again.
From the moment you enter their office the staff is welcoming. They are professional but very friendly. Dr Shah is an amazing Doctor. He explained in detail that I could understand every step he was going to make in the removal and aftercare treatment of my thyroid. He even gave us his personal cell just in case we had questions or needed to call for any reason after my surgery. He even calls himself to see how I was feeling! I highly recommend Dr. Shah for any ENT issues..
Have seen Dr.Shah at both offices. Always very attentive, knowledgeable and aggressive in treating my sinus problems and considering the whole body. Bright man, caring and considerate as well. Gladly refer him to friends.

I’ve been going to Dr Umaat for the last couple of years for sinus issues and have always had a good experience with all staff. Started going when I lived nearby and haven’t wanted to go anywhere else, even though I now have to drive from Gig Harbor.
First visit ever to a dermatologist and felt very welcome and comfortable with Dr. Miner and staff. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Great experience altogether.
I have heard such great things about Dr Ummat, being in the medical field myself, and I am so glad I drove the 2+ hours to see him for my serious concern. Turns out may just be allergies, gerd (heartburn / stomach acid), or a behavior I can change. Dr Ummat put my anxiety to rest when he did initial scope and did not see visible mass/tumor which was my primary concern from reading too much on Google. I am so grateful they fit me into schedule within 2 weeks, as I have been very concerned!!!

I had major sinus issues for a long time. After about 1 appointment, I felt comfortable with Dr Allegra and his staff. They were clear about what needed to be done and after the surgery, I was 100% better. I can actually breathe through my nose and smell things again. Bedside manner is fantastic. If you have any kind of sinus/skin, ear, nose, throat issue, check them out!
I had a tummy tuck by Dr. Allegra 2 months ago and my results are fantastic! I am so thrilled with how well the procedure went and the aftercare was very thorough. I would definitely recommend both NW Face and Dr. Allegra to anyone who is looking to make an investment in themselves. This a an extremely talented team!
Went in for an office visit for an opinion about sleep apnea. Got tortured with a cord run up my nose by a so called doctor (Allegra) and then got billed $784 for it. (15 minutes max) What a terrible bedside manner this guy has. After insurance I’m still stuck with $350. What a rip off. He isn’t touching me again even if it was free.
