My mother was an aesthetician, and my dermatologist was Arnold Klein in BH, who brought botox into the US. So I am well versed with skincare and all the services. I’ve known Polly since the spa opened and regularly bought my beloved Bare Minerals makeup there. Yet it wasn’t until recently that I had my first facial. I was literally blown away. All I could say is that I thought I died and went to heaven. Her facials are on par, if not superior, to what you’d expect to find in LA or NYC. There is a level of excellence that surprised even me. I have a friend in the services industry and recently said “Hey, Mod Skin have you tried it?” She said best &*#@ facial I’ve ever had. You must must must try Mod. I loved it so much I signed up for their monthly membership and now I get discounted services and fabulously relaxing and regenerating monthly facials. I’ve had two so far and I cannot wait for my next one. My skin already looks better than it has in years. Thank you Polly, and staff. You’re top notch as is your customer service, reminders and follow up. Simply the best in all of Seattle.
I cannot say enough great things about MOD. I have been a member since they opened a few years ago, and I love them. The staff are so kind and really make sure you feel at home and taken care of. They customize the facials for what you are needing. I feel like every time I go in Clair adjusts what we are going to work on that day, whether it is that my skin is looking dull, or I have a lot of breakouts, or even addressing my wrinkles. I’ve had both facials and massages here and they are the most relaxing spa experiences out of anywhere I’ve been.
I came to Mod Skin and Body for waxing treatments and was blown away by the professionalism and care I received. I have now been seeing Clair for almost a year for regular Brazilian Waxing treatments and I have to say they are the best in Kirkland! I have since added other treatments to my routine and have been equally pleased with the results and kindness Clair and co. show me each visit.
I’ve been with Mod Skin and Body since they opened, and I’ve been a happy customer ever since. Facials and skin care isn’t just for women, as I’ve got ongoing concerns about blackheads on my nose (I refuse to be one of those middle-aged dudes with a golf ball-nose), plus maintaining my skin’s general condition and appearance as I get older. Colleen and Clair are both superb, professional technicians who understand both the similarities and little intricate differences in male and female skin. I am always pleased with the results and the male-oriented skin care advice I get after a facial session with Colleen–I recommend her (and Clair) highly to men AND women (my fiancee also comes in for monthly facials with Colleen).
Truly, the most amazing facial I have ever had. This family owned business is one of a kind, a jewel located on top of Finn Hill, in Kirkland. My skin is literally glowing. The moment you walk in you instantly feel relaxed and I love the staff. They also carry Bare Minerals! No more trips to the mall. Signing up for membership is the best gift I have ever given myself. I love Mod!!!!!
I have been coming to MOD since it opened. It is Amazing. It is ran by two very professional and knowledgeable women named Clair & Polly. They are a major reason I keep coming back, their customer service is second to none. They are very accommodating and friendly and have given the best customer experience I have ever had from a salon. I come for a variety of services because this truly is your one-stop-shop for all things to groom, beautify, and pamper regardless if you are a man or woman, they have something for everyone. I have enjoyed facials, waxing, laser hair removal, and massages. I have sensitive skin and what I love is their product lines offer a variety of options for all skin types. And their pricing is very reasonable too. I really have no reason to go anywhere else, so I drive all the way from Seattle to their location in Kirkland because I know the service will be outstanding. I really recommend checking out this salon and meeting the wonderful staff there too!
I ❤️ MOD! I’ve been seeing Clair for facials, waxing, etc. for almost two years now I won’t go anywhere else. She’s amazing! The spa has a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere and Clair and Polly are so friendly and knowledgable. I also buy all of my skin care products and make up here, and the girls are so great about figuring out exactly which products I need and color matching my makeup for me. I highly recommend MOD to anyone and everyone weather you have troubled skin that needs help/intensive treatment, or just need a place to relax and treat yourself, they’ve got what you need!
Just had a facial from Colleen and it was AMAZING!!! Not only is she professional but she was informative! She let me know what I can be doing to help skin be better! I would definitely recommend anyone go see Colleen!
The spa is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly! I go there for massages and facials on a monthly basis. My skin has never looked better and as a former massage therapist myself I am picky but the massages are the perfect blend of relaxation and treatment.
They really go above and beyond for their clients I highly recommend giving Mod a try!
Had the best facial I have ever had at Mod today. Colleen performed the signature facial (Rejuvenation) and microdermabrasion. It included foot, leg, arm, neck, shoulder, scalp massage! It was truly a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. Colleen is a very gifted esthetician. This day spa is beautiful and extremely clean. My skin looks years younger. Colleen will definitely be seeing me monthly for facials!! I am also looking forward to some of the other services offered at the day spa, including massages! I’ve been to a lot of spas and Mod is one of the nicest and affordable! So glad to find this gem in my own neighborhood!
My go to spa! the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and all the employees are so sweet and professional. they all do incredible work and i will never go anywhere else!
I have had several treatments at Mod Skin and Body and have not had a bad one. I always feel very welcome. They take notes and are ready with recommendations for the next treatment. The spa is very clean and tranquil. The prices are great and you get more than you pay for. I have been to spa’s all over the PNW, USA and internationally. You could say it was a hobby of mine to work my way through spa menu. This is by far, one of the best ones I have been to. It beats most spa’s at resorts. I would highly recommend this spa. Polly is the best!

I’ve been a client at Mod Skin and Body for nearly a year now and absolutely love it here. Clair and Polly are the most dynamic duo and experts in skin! Their level of care will impress even the most spa savvy clientele. I found this spa when it first opened, and am so glad that I did. My skin looks incredible, thanks to the team here at Mod!! Clair has the most amazing bedside manner, Polly can identify injectable/ product needs like none other. Both have suggested treatments/ product use that were necessary and have taken years off of my face. I’m carded constantly when out and I’m well past the point of that happening, but apparently their hard work here has changed my age? I highly recommend this spa you won’t be disappointed!
Just finished up with the new client special and what a deal that is! A full 70 min facial (best facial I’ve had) and an awesome 50 min massage all for only $99…can’t be beat. The spa was very clean and relaxing environment. Everyone there was super helpful and I felt very pampered and taken care of. I signed up for the monthly facial subscription and can’t wait to go back and have Clair work on me again. She did an amazing job. I am recommending Mod to everyone I know! You will not be disappointed.
Great spa, excellent decor, restful atmosphere and fabulous staff. Everyone is extremely professional. Wide range of services. And the massage therapy has been extremely beneficial in reducing my pain. I also purchased some bareMinerals products and staff followed up to make sure I was happy and not having application difficulty. I would highly recommend Mod Skin and Body.
I enjoyed my first facial experience at Mod Skin and Body with Sarah – it was amazing! Very relaxing and my skin looks great – they also recommended some great products. I also had a relaxing massage with Michael and it was a nice treat. These ladies at Mod are great.

Clair’s facials are more like a facial with a mini massage. I didn’t want it to end! My face felt fantastic for days afterwards, so smooth, lively and fresh. Clair also treated me to a makeup lesson, which was also fabulous.
I will be back and encourage you to treat yourself too! It is well worth it.
