I got a facial here and didn’t love it – it felt like a lot of the time there was prep being done while I was in the facial, and the touch/treatment was so delicate. It almost felt like a completely different treatment. It was relaxing, just not what I was looking for and wouldn’t get it again.
My stylist goes out of her way to make sure my cut and color are what I want and like. Not every stylist works for everyone so you may need to sample more than one before finding the best one for you. I know I had to. Everyone in the salon is helpful and welcoming.
Was able to get in quicker than expected..bonus! I love the Aveda color line. My stylist was very communicative, knowledgeable & skilled. The salon had that pure Aveda feel as expected, was very stylish and comfortable. I was very pleased with my service. Totally recommend!
Stormy and Donna worked on my hair, such kind and wonderful people. I always look for aveda salons when I travel and although my hair is difficult both of these ladies rose to the occasion and did a wonderful job. I will go back!
Facial was wonderful; Marissa (I think I got that right!) clearly tailored the service to my sensitive skin and when I ended up with a weird blotch, she stopped the facial, just to be safe. The discount helped with the shortened service. Thank you! I’ll be seeing you again (next up: haircut with Emily!).
The stylist took an hour and a half to do a cut, and it wasn’t even the style I asked for. Really expensive for having to go get it fixed the next day. When I got it fixed, they said it wasn’t even, nor close to accurate. This Aveda salon was super disappointing.
To the owner: That’s creepy, because my debit card charge for your salon last week tells a different story than your claim 😞.
I had a delightful experience at Studio Donna yesterday. After my friend and stylist of about 25 years, departed with her husband for San Diego, I was uneasily in need of a haircut. About that many years ago, I had had several services performed at the
Studio, so I gave them a call, expecting to wait weeks.
A most positive and sweet young stylist, Emily, really listened when I described preferences for my haircut…….and she catered
to them while she was working. I’ve never such a positive experience. Not only did she work to give me my requests, but she has the knowledge to make my requests work/look even
better. I left feeling that an artist had sculpted my hair. It’s everything I wanted and the layering is beautiful.
For only $10 more than my friend/stylist had been charging, I got an amazing haircut, enjoyed the conversations and, a first in my experiences, the bangs are not too short! Thanks, Emily
Emily did the best haircut I’ve ever had! She knew exactly what my hair needed. Super friendly & professional too! I will be returning to her all my future cuts and color!
Emily did a great long, layered cut on my gray hair. I am growing it out and want to eventually have shoulder length hair. She also showed me how to use my funky barrel curling rod to add more waves and curl to my already wavy hair. She also trimmed up my bangs and took some weight off of them. We also talked Aveda products to use and how. She is awesome!
Asha does an amazing job on my brows! I choose the threading technique and have her tint them. Her lines are flawless and always does an amazing with the color she hand mixes. Highly recommend her!

I love getting my hair cut at Donna’s. It’s a warm, welcoming place, and the staff members are wonderful. Emily does an excellent job.
