I am an engineer sitting in front of computer almost all day, and gained 40lbs in past 3 years. I tried several weight loss program either did not work or not sustainable.
I went to Serenity Rejuvenation Center for HCG weight loss program (40 days) in January in 2017, and I have lost 30lbs. This is the best weight loss experience I have ever had so far. In this program, I also got B12 shot to maintain my energy.
Doctor is really professional and himself has tried HCG in order to better understand the effect as well as how it can help patients. In this protocol, I seldom felt hungry, and because I was eating nature and healthy food throughout this protocol, I became even more energetic and was with better skin.
Now I am starting my 2nd around in order to reach my ultimate goal.
The place is very clean, they take you in on time, the lady is helping me is very friendly. I definitely recommend. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because I am not really clear on how their prices work. I wish they had a pricing right in office. You should be able to see if you can get a discount on some services. My first purchase was less than my second one. Not sure why.

Awesome IPL photo facial for reasonable price. I have had IPLs at various places in different parts of the country over the years, most recently at another place in Bellevue. I Â paid double than I did at Serenity Rejuvenation Center. The doctor at SRC also did the procedure, and much better clearance of my dark spots than previous treatments. Very happy and I’ll be back!

Finished series of 6 treatments on upper and lower back laser hair removal treatments. Shaving is essentially a non issue now! Very difficult to shave your own back so I’m very thankful for this! It’s always a hard decision to find a good place for these types of treatments but I couldn’t speak more highly of Dr. O’Connell and the entire staff. So professional, great customer service and great results with my Botox. Definitely recommend!

I had one laser hair removal session done in Buffalo, and came to Serenity in Bellevue to do the remaining treatments. I was scheduled to go back to Buffalo for my 3rd treatment, but I cancelled those appointments because I found Serenity to be SO much more skilled and professional. The aesthetician marked off the areas of my bikini line with a white pencil and used a straight edge to get the perfect line (Buffalo office did not). The laser they use here is much less painful than IPL (Buffalo office uses IPL) and has a continuous, cooling flow of air that helps with pain. I loved the staff and doctor – all very friendly and professional. Very happy with Serenity Rejuv Center and I’m looking forward to my next visit!
I am getting married next year and have a few tattoos (large tattoos) I wanted to get removed before then. I’ve always wanted them removed but always hesitated because I was scared of the end result of possible scaring. I went in for a consultation, everyone was very educated and informative, answering all my question. The new picosure technology is AMAZING! I’ve just finish my second treatment and the results are magnificent!
Yes it’s not a complete walk in the park, tattoo removal is not comfortable by any means but the doctor goes above and beyond to get you as comfortable as possible offering both topical and injectable anesthetic. Which helps tremendously!

Overall good experience and good pricing
I’ve had laser treatments over the last two- years at other facilities and I have to say without any hesitation that this was by far the best experience! Scheduling was easy; the staff was friendly and 100% professional. The laser technology used is “state-of-the-art” and it really makes for less discomfort and thoroughness. Dr. O’Connell is up on the current techniques as well as technology and can explain it in terms that are understandable. Highly recommend Serenity.
Pros: friendly, knowledgable, reassuring, non-judgmental aesthetician. Pricing was reasonable and straightforward. Scheduling was easy.
Cons: lots of ads everywhere for their services. Cramped treatment room. Did not see the doctor for my consult but instead my aesthetician texted him for approval to start treatment.
Overall: will be returning for the rest of my laser hair removal treatments, and possibly for tattoo removal services as well.
This place is AWESOME! They’re on top of it! I made an inquiry, was contacted same day (didn’t respond because I was terribly busy), then recontacted a couple days later. I’ve never done laser hair removal before and they patiently walked me through every single step of it. I was so appreciative. Katie is stellar when it comes to making you feel completely comfortable throughout the process, giving you a heads up on what to expect and reassuring you that all of your questions are valid. Not sure if I can request anyone to actually perform my appt, but I’m definitely going to be sure I rearrange my schedule to ensure Katie is the one I see for all future appts. I’ve already recommended them to two people and I’m sure that list will grow. Can’t wait for my next visit!
Fast but pain controlled
Tattoo Removal with PicoSure is definitely the number 1 choice that I will recommend to any individual who want their tattoos removed. After getting frustrated with traditional Q-Switched tattoo removal treatments (after 5 treatments) and with only minimal improvement I decided to find a better solution. Googled and found Picosure – the newest tattoo removal equipment. Since Serenity Rejuvenation Center has Picosure I made an appointment with them for consult only. The facility was nice and clean. Lady at the front desk was super nice and answered lots of questions I had prior meeting the doctor. The consult with Dr. O’Connell was very helpful to further undertand the process of tattoo removal. Apparently the older your tattoo it responds better. I felt pretty comfortable and decided to do the treatment right after my consult. Doctor did spot treatment fist to test my pain tolerance. I have to admit it was a little painful so they provided injectable anesthetic which helped a lot to numb the area. My tattoo is pretty small size of a kiwi. They charged me $249. It’s the deal they are running on groupon. Affordable place in Bellevue. Also, the end results is fantastic as my tattoo faded almost 85% after only one treatment. Again, I am amazed with the results and would recommend Serenity Rejuvenation Center to get your tattoos removed.
I tend to be a skeptic when it comes to new things. I met with Dr. O’Connell at Serenity Rejuvenation Center last spring and committed & completed his 40 day weight loss program, and I literally lost 42 pounds. After the program I basically started eating my pre diet way- which is relatively healthy, but a lot. I expected to gain all the weight back. However, as he stated- my metabolism was reset, and while I did regain some weight, I am still 35 pounds lighter 7 months later. Post Thanksgiving Holiday I will restart a 23 day program and hope to drop closer to my ideal body weight. I am close at this point and am excited to get there.
The office is clean and comfortable, the staff always friendly and professional and they are always accomadating when scheduling appointments.

Nice and pleasant med spa and staff. It took me a while to decide on getting Coolsculpting. I finally went for it and took advantage of the special buy 2 get 1 free. The procedure went smooth. It took one hour per area, definitely painless and no downtime at all. I am excited to see the result. Dr. O’Connell was great I will come back for Botox.
I’ve been coming to Serenity Rejuvenation Center for nearly two years now for IPL treatment and now (occasional maintenance ) as well as for botox with Dr. O’Connell, and will continue to do so as I am very pleased. Most recently I decided to take advantage of a coolsculpting promo ( buy 2 get 1 free) and just went through the treatment . I Feel like the treatment was very straight forward. The procedure for 3 applicators took just over 3 hours. In the beginning of the treatment with placement of each applicator there was suction and very mild discomfort however within 5 minutes I was so numb that I couldn’t feel anything around the area, it was painless. During the treatment I watched Netflix and just “chilled out” lol-no pun intended. After the treatment I continued with my daily routine…Amazing. I am very excited to see the results.
