Wonderful Clinic. Dr. O’Connell was thorough in the initial patient introduction, accounting for skin history (symptoms and treatment) as well as lifestyle (exercise, diet, stress). He most importantly really listened to my own comfort level and preferences!!! He proposed multiple treatment options and the one we decided to move forward with tailored not only to the needs of my skin but also to my choices which is SO RARE. I’m very grateful for the wonderful experience and am definitely looking froward to continuing my treatment and adding new ones!

Best laser treatment ever
A wonderful experience here at Serenity Rejuvenation Center! I had some laser work done and I was so happy with the results! DR O’Connell was excellent, he explained everything so I understood the procedure and the after care. I highly recommend them. Thanks for the Fantastic experience, I will be back.
Had to share this with photos so ot can bee clear enough for everyone to see actual results! After almost 12 treatments i almost dont shave this area..the After photo was taken after 3 weeks of last treatment as you see there are no hair at all!! it grows very slow and it did got soften as well. Cant thank you enough for this!!

PLEASE READ – Twelve days ago, I went for a consultation appointment. I have bruxism, and I heard that botox was effective.
I ended up getting it that same day.
Four days later, the left side of my face was partially paralyzed. I couldn’t lift my left lip resulting in a very obvious asymmetrical smile and difficulties speaking and eating.
I called the clinic, and they gave me an appointment a few days Later (a week after I was injected).
When I got to the clinic, the symptoms had worsened, and my right side was starting to be affected too.
The doctor acted as if there wasn’t anything wrong. He kept saying: what? I don’t see anything. He followed by saying that if there was something wrong “it couldn’t be due to the injections as the effects are not shown until 3 weeks after”. He even said that he didn’t know if my smile was like this before. After showing him a picture of a couple of months ago, he finally said: I’ve never seen anything like this, think it this way you are special!
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
I understand that there are risks involved with these procedures but expect the professional to be understanding and show some level of concern. I went there looking for advice and guidance.
This is not only a cosmetic issue as it’s impacting my speech, and I’m having difficulties eating. It’s also affecting my work as I work face to face.
I went to another clinic to get advice, and they explained to me that the doctor likely injected me too high on the muscle and got into a nerve. It typically only happens on one side as professionals do not usually do it wrong on both sides, but apparently, he did.
Again, my complaint is not about the result, as I understand the risks… it is about the lack of empathy, professionalism, and acknoledgment. If you are looking into getting any kind of procedure like this, you may want to go to a place where they will care about the patients.
Btw – after the follow-up appointment, I sent them an email showing my discontent and concern as the symptoms hadn’t improved and they never answered.

I have been getting laser treatments for years and the hair always seemed to come back. I started going to Serenity about 3 months ago and the hair seems to be gone for good. That is partially due to having a knowledgeable doctor on staff and partly do to the quality of their lasers. I would absolutely come back for all other laser needs!
Horrible experience, after spending thousands of dollar didn’t got the satisfaction result of facial lazier. I will not recommend this place to anybody
I have been going to Serenity for tattoo removal for over a year and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. O’Connell. He did such a great job removing a tattoo on my face that I decided I wanted many more removed on my arm. I’m covered with plenty of “permanent” reminders of poor past decisions and thanks to Dr. O’Connell, they are permanent no more! I truly enjoy taking to Dr. O’Connell and have come to see him more as a friend than just a provider. He has a genuine interest in his patients and truly takes their care very seriously. I went to many consultations before choosing a provider to work with and I’m beyond grateful to have found Dr. O’Connell and Serenity Rejuvenation Center. If it were possible I’d give more than 5 stars, 5 simply isn’t enough.
If you are looking for a professional and licensed clinic for your skin treatments, this is the best choice. The clinic itself is so beautiful and peaceful and clean. Dr. O’Connell deserves the highest praise. I have been seeing Dr. O’Connell for 2 years, he is knowledgeable and professional listens to you and answers all your questions and concerns. He takes notes for every treatment and makes adjustment if needed based on my healing.
I am a returning customer and very displeased. I tried making an appointment and the receptionist quoted me $399 for 3 laser sessions. I went on Groupon and they had the same deal for $165! I purchased the Groupon and she told me I wouldn’t be able to use it because I’m a returning customer. It does not state that anywhere on the groupons. I have no idea who I was talking to because she wouldn’t leave her name at the end of her emails. On google the times of business are incorrect.
I want to start off by saying that it’s extremely discouraging to see reviews that just seem so fake.. I know everyone has their own experience but speaking from mine, I can only say positive things! The staff are extremely friendly, the space is clean and comfortable (and they are even moving to a bigger office this month!), and the results are great! I went in for 6 laser hair removal sessions and have seen about 85% permanent hair loss in my treated areas. For the most part, I had a painless experience, nothing unbearable for me but it does get more painful as you bear the end (laser is stronger and more focused). But, they do offer numbing cream if you feel you need it! I never used it though. Definitely don’t need it for the first session. The consultation was also informative and I never felt unsafe or in the company of inexperienced technicians. Special shoutout to Michelle who does a great job! I would absolutely (and already have) recommend this place for laser hair removal!
Very happy with my services. Their customer service is stellar. Great flexibility with scheduling, and you feel like they care about not just your results from their service, but what is going on in your life. Definitely made me feel safe and cared for during this challenging time of COVID world.
I went in for Laser IPL treatment to reduce redness and for evening skin tone/lessening light scares. However, afterwards, my beard started regrowing very patchy, and now has permanent hair removal baldness along my beard… I did not go in for laser hair removal, and was not notified that IPL would remove my facial hair permanently. If I had been disclosed this information, I would not have undergone IPL. I reached out a few weeks after treatment and did not hear back. I still have not heard back almost 2months later and still have permanent hair loss along my face. I thought this was significantly unprofessional and I should have been notified that IPL would ruin my facial hair permanently prior to treatment. Please avoid as I don’t think they were very honest to me and wouldn’t respond to my concerns and now I have permanent facial hair damage :/
