My primary rhinoplasty was performed by another surgeon in July 2017. As the swelling resolved, I came to the distressing realization that the procedure had been botched. My nose was crooked, dented, bulbous, and looked worse than it had prior to the surgery. Knowing that revision rhinoplasty is widely regarded as the most challenging plastic surgery to perform and fearing that a second operation would further damage my nose, I was initially hesitant to pursue surgical correction. After a year and a half of debating how to proceed, I finally decided to consult facial plastic surgeons but only commit to have surgery if I found one who was exceptionally skilled and trustworthy.
I began meeting with surgeons in the Seattle area and was immediately impressed by Dr. Ridgway and his stellar team. They were by far the most knowledgeable, meticulous, and competent. Whereas other surgeons rushed through the appointments or appeared lukewarm about taking on my case, Dr. Ridgway took ample time to listen to my story, acknowledge my concerns, and explain what could be done to fix my nose. It was clear that he was an expert in his field. Furthermore, he understood my mentality as a revision rhinoplasty patient and was extremely transparent and reassuring. I appreciated his kindness, wit, and honesty. (In addition to being a phenomenal surgeon, the man has a heart of gold!) By the end of our first meeting, I knew I would be having a revision surgery with him.
The experiences with my first rhinoplasty surgeon and Dr. Ridgway were night and day. Whereas my first surgeon had limited contact with me, Dr. Ridgway met with me multiple times before and after my surgical date, thoroughly and patiently answered all of my questions, and took the time to put me at ease. It was always a pleasure to meet with him, and I was never left wondering or worrying about anything.
My surgery lasted about three and a half hours and involved grafting, scar tissue correction, tip reshaping and stabilization, septoplasty, an osteotomy, and reduction of the lower turbinates. Despite the open approach I had far less bruising and swelling than I did after my initial (closed) rhinoplasty. The recovery was quick and painless with minimal discomfort. I am now over one year post op and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! My nose is elegant, functional, and completely natural looking. My breathing has improved as well. I am so grateful to Dr. Ridgway for fixing my botched nose and restoring my confidence. He is a gem of a surgeon and an all-around wonderful human being who has changed my life for the better!

I’m a 54 year old active woman and I started thinking about a neck lift about a year ago. I’m a teacher and when school closed and Zoom meetings began, that’s when I seriously started thinking about a neck lift. What really bugged me about my face wasn’t really my face, but rather the saggy skin around my neck. During Zoom sessions with students I found myself resting my neck on my hand so I would be able to pull the skin back. I hated wearing my hair down because I didn’t want to reveal my neck. I tried creams, but nothing would tighten the skin in that area. The saggy skin prematurely aged me and didn’t match how I felt about myself. I wasn’t looking for a fountain of youth, but just wanted to turn back the clock.
I started asking around, and came upon Dr. Ridgway’s office and his caring staff. To say I was nervous is an understatement. Would I look like myself? Would I look like I had work done? I wanted to keep my natural appearance, but just wanted to look refreshed. Taking the plunge, I committed to the procedure.
Four months later, I feel great! And most of all I love the results! And now I can easily put my hair up in a ponytail with no fear or trepidation. Ask me if I would do the procedure again….in a heartbeat and only with Dr. Ridgway.
I went to Dr Ridgeway with a lingering issue from 3 prior Rhinoplasty’s. A bit about the 3 prior surgerys: The first had been with Nafiacy, and included a revision that was promised to straighten and improve symmetry. Sadly, the work resulted in a much larger nose and worse symmetry. Nafiacy made promises he did not keep, tried to excuse his work which left me extremely disappointed in choosing him and the poor work he did. The third surgery was with Portuese who made improvements in Nafiacys work and removed grafts not needed, but his closed surgery process could no fix it all. Hence why I sought a forth to fix what was still an issue from Nafiacy. After meeting with several, no one wanted to do surgery, until I met with Dr Ridgeway. I can say that meeting Dr Ridgeway gave me hope and thoroughly understood my problem and concerns. He took me as a patient and did the surgery. The results were astounding, he really knows his profession, it was the most painless, easiest, fantastic surgery i had had!!!, I am so thankful. I wish i had gone to Dr Ridgeway first!!! His approach and skills are beyond impressive. A true artist and professional in his chosen field !!

Fantastic results with lip lift and facial micro liposuction.And he is a wizard with botox, you will never end up with a weird brow or droopy eye.I think he is really the best in all Seattle area for any facial plastic surgery or botox rejuvenation.
Dr. Ridgway is the only person I trust to do my Botox. I found him several years ago and have always been thrilled with the results. Aside from his expertise, he’s also warm, funny, personable, and he has integrity. I highly recommend him!
I went to Dr. Ridgway for surgery back in June and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Ridgway listened, provided expert feedback, and even talked me out of an unnecessary procedure (one that a different doctor suggested erroneously almost 5 years ago). While he provided simulations (with options for me to consider), the result was even better than what I expected.
I also want to call out the amazing staff – literally everyone in the office made me feel taken care of from start to finish. Every patient is like a VIP to the front desk and nurses. Very happy.

Dr. Ridgway is excellent. I picked him because he is board certified in plastic surgery and head and neck surgery. This is unusual and gives him a deeper understanding of the anatomical structure of the face. I also asked Anesthesiologists who had worked with him. They gave him great reviews, too. I had facial surgery and am very happy with the results.

I am so glad I found Dr. Ridgway. I suffered with acne scars for over 10 years and tried so many treatments. I spent about $10,000 on acne scar treatments and saw no results. I received dermabrasion from him, and it was life changing! From the start he was very kind and took his time to talk to me and answer all of my questions. Dr. Ridgway is a kind doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. If I had any questions about anything, I could call/text him directly or call the office. He was very honest about the kind of improvement I would see. I saw about an 80% improvement in my scars! His staff is also very kind and welcoming. The results were life changing! I had surgery with Dr. Ridgway about seven months ago, and it was one of the absolute best decisions I’ve ever made. I’d wanted to make a few subtle changes to the appearance of my nose for almost 20 years, but I had never met someone that I trusted. I have to start this off by saying this is not a review of the doctor himself, but the scheduling/office staff.
I had emailed inquiring about getting eyelid surgery about 7 months ago. I was booked out about 2 months. They took my credit card info down as well. I was also told they would email me some forms to fill out. I never received them and had honestly forgotten until a few days before my appointment comes around. I call to get the forms and am told that I actually don’t have that appointment anymore because they are moving offices…um ok?? So I would have just driven an hour to the appointment to be told I didn’t have one. They told me someone was supposed to call me to reschedule my appointment. No one did. After asking some more I get an email telling me that they will reschedule me soon. I emailed them again after 2 months went by and I realize they never got back to me. I never got a response. Basically got ghosted from this place. I’m really disappointed because I could have gone somewhere else instead of being lead on by this place.
I was unable to breathe through my nose since childhood, and I approached several surgeons about a septorhinoplasty. Eventually i settled on dr Ridgway after reading his reviews.
Months later and it has been a life changing operation, has improved my breathing completely, has straightened my nose and given me a lot more confidence in my appearance. Dr ridgway has been an excellent and detail oriented surgeon. I completely recommend him for a septorhinoplasty.
