If you’re thinking about getting into the microblading field and searching for an instructor and company to learn this trade through, look no further. Amanda is seriously the best instructor I could have asked for. I’m sure if you’re still on the fence about this career, you’re just as nervous as I was. I had no background in makeup and no artistic abilities whatsoever. I completed my microblading course and am already fully booked for the next few months! Laura did a wonderful job on my brows. I had a combination of microblading & shading done and I’m very happy with the result so far (next day, no pain or redness or swelling, no oozing or anything!) Results are natural & lovely. Laura is also just as sweet as can be, and she really knows what she is doing! Highly recommend. I will update this review after my touch-up appt and all is healed and done.

Honestly Amanda is just overall an amazing human being. I took my microblading/shading online/live course with her and I’m so thankful to have found this academy and also for someone like her to be so close to where I live and be able to learn from the best master trainer! She’s so supportive and motivational! I love learning from her so much that I recommended all my friends that are thinking about taking a microblading course to come to her! I’m also going to be returning for 3 more courses and not going anywhere else! She’s the best at what she does whether it’s microblading people or being a master trainer! I came across Eastside through a recommendation from a friend who had just got her eyebrows powdered by Amanda, and I’m SO happy that I booked! I couldn’t have had a better experience or a better outcome. I was hesitant to book the appointment initially, mostly because I wasn’t really sure if microblading was right for me. However, my friend’s brows looked so good that I couldn’t stop asking about them. When I went to my appointment, I said that I wanted a natural look, and Amanda did just that for me! I really trusted and leaned on her recommendations, and in the end I went with the powder ombré and LOVE how it turned out. The extensive mapping process gave me an idea of how they would look before she started, and it made me comfortable to see how symmetrical everything was (which was not the case for me coming into the appointment). Not only am I obsessed with how my brows look now, but I also loved talking with Amanda throughout the appointment. She’s so so kind, professional, and relatable which made the appointment fly by! All in all, 10/10 for Eastside—I couldn’t have had a better experience!
I’ve spent 25 years drawing my brows on and running from squirt gun fights. I have the blondest they come and the struggle’s been real!! NEVER did I think I’d find someone I trusted to do permenant blonde powder. Amanda is AMAZING. She is not only the best at her trade (I can whole heartedly guarentee no regrets) but also has a gift of making the expierence fun and so relaxing! If you want to make life easier with some perfect brows and you’re looking for a miracle worker brow bestie to make that happen for you…. Here she is!!!!!
