Sea Spa is a perfect place to take some time to unwind- they are professional, skilled, and friendly.
I love this spa! It’s decorated so pretty inside. I’ve had several massages there, and they’re great every time.
Great service, attentive well trained staff…very comprehensive array of treatments for hair, nails,feet, couples massage, bodyshaping…whatever your body needs.
Wow! Piper did a lovely job cutting and styling my hair. It’s a little shorter than I usually wear it, but it’s gorgeous! My husband loves it, too. I look like a brand new woman.
I cannot say enough about this lovely Steilacoom treasure. First off, the staff is inviting, polite and very knowledgeable. The environment is peaceful, comfy and clean. Over the years I’ve had multiple services (massage, pedi/mani, facial, hair color/cut), they never disappoint. You will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. Wish I could go more often! After 7 years of a hair growth journey and 2 pregnancies my hair was finally at the length and health I wanted. After much thought and research I thought a subtle balagaye would be a good mommy make over– boy did I choose the wrong establishment. Piper did my hair and she is a wonderful person however she ruined and damaged by hair with the bleach process. I left unhappy with the first go around and it seemed really odd my hair was all the sudden overelastic and super matted with knots. This continued, yet I put it in a bun and out of sight. Went back for a toner fix and still not the desired result. Mind you, I had to wait for the availability in between– then, the salon owner basically facilitated a refund for the $234.00 mistake and disaster. Do I apply the refund? Absolutely– 100% great customers care. Were the receptionist and stylist kind and tried to be helpful? Yes. However this does not make up for the destruction of my locks. I do not recommend this salon for color services. I am left truly distraught about the current state of my hair.
From reception to pedi, everything was lovely. Had a paraffin pedi with Piper on the patio with a nice view of Puget Sound. Piper was great!
Nice little place! Receptionist is so nice. Had the Purity Facial with Shandel! She did a great job and arms and hands massage was really nice too! Will be back there soon!
I have gone to this salon for about six years.
The first issue I had with them was in December 2017, I booked a full face wax and then was charged for a brow wax in addition. They have since updated the wording on the website but didn’t comp me or admit any wrong doing.
They love upselling you. Every time you get a service they try to upsell the service and get you to buy a product. Their prices are very high, higher than some spas in Tacoma.
In December 2017, I booked a Puget Sound Mani w/ Paraffin. I instead I was given a shellac manicure which didn’t include paraffin. Obviously this is a much different service.
I was also there yesterday for a purity facial. I was about 40 minutes into the facial when the esthetician went into great detail about adding an extra mask and how it was what she recommend. I had been lying there with my eyes closed for 40 minutes, not a great way to have to make a decision. I said yes because I felt pressured and when I went to check out, the mask was $35. This pricing is not listed on their website or in their booking tool. I have been getting facials for over 10 years, so I understand that a facial can bring things to the surface, but when I got the the car my skin was extremely oily and there were many pimples and blackheads that were almost popped and I had to clean up my own face. I know there is a time limit but my facial started late and ended early. I have never had this issue in a previous facial. My face continued to stay oily and I had to wash my face after. They used beauty oil and recommend I buy some. I think it is what made my face oily. I have naturally oily skin and was hoping to improve it, not make it worse.
I have complained about this issues and they defended the salon and didn’t offer to comp anything, even the miscommunications.
My partner got my mom and I gift cards for Christmas to go here. Sweetest mom and daughter gift ever! This place was sooo great. Amazing views of the Puget Sound. We both got massages, I was pregnant so I got a pregnancy massage. My mom got the fassage. Both were fantastic.
They gave a complimentary sauna session before and foot bath after for it being our first time. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. They even served me some tea. Highly recommend this place!
Amazing experience each time ive visited this spa!! First time, i got an amazing prenatal massage. They were very accommodating for my belly size & being pregnant in general, and made it super comfortable for me to get the massage.
Second time i visited was for a cut. Piper did great!! Gave me exactly what i asked for! Conversation was wonderful, she asked lots of questions to make sure i was happy with my cut as well.
Ive also received services for pedicures as well as facials & waxing, those have always been great!
This spa is super clean, staff is amazing & communicative. The decor really ties everything together, making it a true ‘SeaSpa’. Will come here for any service always!
